Hindsight  Bias- tendency to believe, after learning the outcome, that you knew it all along

Independent Variable-whatever is being manipulated in the experiment.

Dependent Variable- whatever is being measured in the experiment..

Standard Deviation- is a number that indicates the extent to which, on the average, figures in a given set of data vary from the mean. 

Inferential Statistics- involve mathematical inference based on descriptive statistics. 

Case Study- an intensive investigation of an individual or group

Naturalistic Observation- watch subjects in their natural environment.

Survey- measures correlation, it's cheap and fast 

Random Sampling- one in which each individual within the scope of the research has an equal chance of being selected.
