Types of Correlation:
-Positive: variables go in the same direction
-Negative: variables go in the opposite directions
Ex: There's a negative correlation between smoking cigarettes and living a long healthy life.
Blind Study: the subjects are unaware that they are being conducted an experiment on.
Double-Blind Study: neither subjects nor experimenters know which group is control or experimental.
Correlation: suggests a relationship between two variables but it does not establish causation.
-Descriptive Statistics: describes the results of research
-Inferential Statistics: inferences or draw a conclusion.
-High Standard Deviation: means scores are spread out
-Low Standard Deviation: means that scores are clustered together
